White and medium grey are both colorless neutrals with no hue component — the only axis of difference between them is lightness. Medium grey occupies the middle of the grey scale, sitting clearly above dark grey and clearly below light grey, producing a clean and unambiguous mid-tone that contrasts with white without reading as heavy or dark. Because neither color carries a hue, the Color-Block relies entirely on the geometric boundaries of the Dunk High’s panel construction to create visual structure: the hard-edged panel splits between the toe box, quarter panels, collar, and Swoosh zone define where white ends and grey begins.
