The Swoosh becomes a line. Every other build in this series uses the Swoosh as a filled shape — a solid surface carrying one of the colorway’s colors. Here, the Swoosh is rendered as an outline: a silver border tracing the Swoosh’s perimeter without filling it. The outline treatment removes the Swoosh’s visual mass while keeping its silhouette fully present. What remains is the shape of the Swoosh rather than the body of it — a contour drawn in silver against the colored upper, sitting on the surface of the shoe the way an engraved line sits on metal. Teal and purple are both cool-register colors occupying different positions in the cool spectrum: teal sits at the blue-green intersection, carrying associations with water, mineral surfaces, and deep pigment; purple moves toward the blue-red boundary, richer and heavier in character. Together they provide enough visual variety to make the upper active without introducing warm tones or saturation extremes. Silver is the logical choice for the outline: it is metallic rather than colored, which keeps the Swoosh from competing with either teal or purple for tonal attention, and the metallic quality gives the outline a material distinctness that a matte white or black line would not achieve.
