Nike Air Force 1 ’07 — Black White Polka Dot
Pattern enters the series. Every other build in this collection operates through color, material, or scale — tonal Swooshes, satin finishes, metallic accents, reduced logos. The Black White Polka Dot is the first to introduce a repeating graphic: a pattern that covers surface area rather than accenting a single element. Polka dots are one of the most legible and culturally durable patterns in fashion — they read immediately, they carry specific references (postwar European fashion, mid-century American sportswear, the recurring dot motif in contemporary art), and on footwear they function as a crossover signal between sportswear and ready-to-wear. Black and white is the only color combination that gives the polka dot maximum graphic clarity: the dots are fully visible at any scale, the contrast is absolute, and neither color adds a temperature or mood register that would shift the pattern’s neutrality. The result is an AF1 that reads as a fashion object first and a sneaker second — the pattern is the design.
- Black and white polka dot upper — repeating dot pattern applied across the leather upper panels; black and white operate at maximum contrast, making the pattern fully legible from a distance and at close range; the dot scale is sized to remain distinct without overwhelming the silhouette
- Pattern as the primary design element — unlike every other build in this series where a material treatment or color relationship is the variable, here the graphic pattern is the entire design decision; the AF1 silhouette becomes a surface for the dot to occupy
- Fashion crossover register — polka dots sit at the intersection of sportswear and fashion dressing; the pattern references mid-century couture, contemporary art, and archive Nike releases that have used dots to create category-crossing designs
- Maximum contrast color logic — black and white is the highest-contrast combination available; on a repeating pattern, this contrast ensures each dot is individually distinct, the negative space reads cleanly, and the overall effect is graphic rather than decorative
- Classic Air Force 1 ’07 low-top silhouette with encapsulated Nike Air cushioning and durable rubber outsole
- Available in EU sizes 35–47
